At Jewel Nests, we value transparency and customer satisfaction. This Return & Refund Policy is designed in compliance with applicable Canadian consumer protection laws and U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regulations, while protecting both our customers and our business.

30-Day Return Period

Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery, starting from the date your order is marked as delivered by the shipping carrier.

Return requests submitted after 30 days may not be accepted.

Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return, refund, or exchange, all items must:

  • Be unworn, unused, and in original condition
  • Show no signs of damage, alteration, resizing, or engraving
  • Include original packaging, certificates, and documentation
  • Be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit
  • Items that do not meet these requirements may be refused, returned to the customer, or refunded partially at Jewel Nests’ discretion.

Custom & Final Sale Items (Non-Returnable)

In accordance with Canadian and U.S. consumer laws, custom-made goods are not required to be refundable.

The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or refund:

  • Customized or personalized jewelry
  • Engraved or resized items
  • Made-to-order engagement rings and lab-grown diamond jewelry
  • Gift cards
  • Clearance or final sale items
  • These exclusions are clearly disclosed on product pages prior to purchase.

Return Shipping Policy

Canada

  • Jewel Nests provides free prepaid return shipping labels for approved returns within Canada only.
  • A return shipping label will be issued after your return request is authorized.

United States & International Orders

  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping and insurance costs.
  • Returns must be shipped using a trackable and insured courier service.

Jewel Nests is not responsible for items lost, delayed, or damaged during return shipping without valid tracking and insurance.

Return Authorization Required

  • All returns must be approved in advance to comply with fraud prevention and shipping insurance requirements.
  • Unauthorized returns may be refused or returned to the sender.

Packaging & Photo Verification

Before shipping your return, you must email us clear photos showing:

  • The jewelry item placed inside the packaging
  • The sealed outer shipping box

Returns sent without photo verification may not be approved.

Inspection & Refund Processing

Once your return is received, all items undergo inspection for condition and authenticity.

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method only
  • Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after inspection
  • Banks and payment providers may require additional time for the credit to appear

Original shipping fees, duties, and taxes are non-refundable, except where required by law.

Exchanges

Exchanges must be requested within 30 days of delivery and are subject to product availability.

  • Price differences will be charged or refunded accordingly
  • Replacement items are shipped only after the original item passes inspection

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please provide clear photos of:

  • The item received
  • The packaging
  • The shipping label

Failure to notify us within this timeframe may impact eligibility for replacement or refund.

Order Cancellation Policy

  • Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, provided production has not started
  • Custom or made-to-order items cannot be canceled once manufacturing has begun

Return Abuse & Order Limits

Jewel Nests reserves the right to refuse returns or limit future orders in cases of:

  • Excessive or repeated returns
  • Bracketing (ordering multiple items with intent to return most)
  • Fraudulent or abusive behavior

This is permitted under applicable Canadian and U.S. consumer protection regulations.

This policy does not limit or exclude your statutory rights under applicable provincial, state, or federal consumer protection laws. Where required by law, Jewel Nests will provide refunds or remedies accordingly.
